Alison is a multimedia journalist based in New York City. In her current role, she interviews news-makers for the syndicated daily news magazine, Inside Edition, which is watched by 4.5 million people across the United States. Alison’s first independent documentary-short was published online by Canada’s largest national newspaper, The Globe and Mail. The documentary covered one man’s path to independence and wellness after struggling with depression. With Inside Edition, Alison has traveled across the United States, telling the stories that people talk about and share. From the red carpet to a political convention floor, Alison has a calm and focused style paired with a strong work ethic. She covered the 2016 election in the tri-state area and served as the sole field producer during the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia. Alison traveled to London in May 2018 to cover the royal wedding of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, producing several compelling pieces from London and Windsor during the lead up to the wedding. She thrives in breaking news situations, booking and conducting interviews on the spot. Alison has put her passion to work in both the United States and Canada in online, television and documentary mediums, always striving to understand the people behind the headlines. Alison is the co-founder of a charity event, The Challenge for Life, that has raised over $8 million dollars for cancer research. She also ran the 2014 New York City Marathon, raising money for the same cause.
